Review | Phantasee Twilight contact lenses

Hey-lo :)
Today, I want to share with you something that not everyone has ever think of to invest their money to it. Most of us consumers were afraid that the products might turn out to be unexpected, which is a disaster.
But you know what, I'm going to be the one to try this.

AND BEHOLD --- TWILIGHT LENSES FROM PHANTASEE
*not affiliated or paid by Glasses Online or anyone else to do this.

Okay, I promise and I swear that I'll upload clearer photos when I get my hands on the DSLR again.
My sister has FINALLY brought the camera to the HQ to fix it and we may be able to get it within a few weeks time.
I won't throw the vials or the box away, nor the lenses, and I will put up clear photos once I get it.
How would you know if I've uploaded? Simple, just follow my blog and wait till I upload a blog post stating the camera is back from the first paragraph.
Then you can choose to unfollow me or continue to follow me :)

Now, I'm a little disappointed because I've got this parcel late.
I ordered on the 20th of October and they stated 2-8days arrival.
I called for inquiry on 29th of October and they said it may arrive around after 3rd of November (Monday) but I received it on the 1st of November (Saturday).
so right now, I'm not sure whether to trust or not to trust them, to be happy or not to be happy about it.
But the delivery service was fast enough.

Anyways, I've got excited and opened the box.
I took them out before I could take the unopened-box photo.
Basically this is how it looks like before I grabbed my phone to snap photos.

*you can click to enlarge*
*I'll upload clearer photos asap, as mentioned above*

This is the box.
Inside, there's a piece of paper stating the usual thing about contact lenses, like how you show keep it or what you should do before and after wearing them....

This are the vials with the lenses inside.
It's pretty small tho.
I kinda broke my thumb nail while opening the second one... the crack was deep :/

Inner - Outer - Outer - Outer

This is from GlassesOnline.com (RM59) :-
Brand: Phantasee Fancy Lens
Frequency: Quarterly Wear (It's actually 1 year replacement)
Diameter: 14.0mm
Material: Hydrogel Terpolymer
Water Content: 0.45

My opinions:
Lovely contact lenses, unlike the previous lenses that I've reviewed -Phantasee Natural Grey, the picture shown on GlassesOnline is exactly how the lenses look like in real life.
The down part is that, don't call it a twilight lens when the colour is awfully orange and not gold/ goldish yellow.
Twihards are aware of what the Cullen's eye colors are, and they are GOLDDDDD.
Pretty much still wearable if the wearer don't say that he/she is a 'vegetarian' vampire from Twilight.
Friends still say that I look scary enough as a vampire.

Here are some photos which I took yesterday for Halloween :)

Additional info:
BB cream: Petite Jelly from Holika Holika
Eyeshadow: Oh So Special! from Sleek Makeup
Lip Ink: Rouge Infusion Lip Stain form Sephora
·
Dress: A floor-length, flare back Eclipse hand-me-down
Choker: An antique hand-me-down
Ring: DIY filigree ring with ruby nail polish painted
Fangs: A random shop in Taobao
·
Photo app: Candy Cam
Filter: Romantic Blue

Review| Kinohimitsu J'pan D'Tox Tea- Ginger

Hellooooo :)
This would be a threaded post with updates and I hope it helps you guys to determine whether this product is worth the buy or not.

I bought this on the day 11th October 2014 just to give it a try since the college days have been making me feel unhealthy. Sitting all day before, during and after meals, and also lack of time to exercise.
At the same time, because of self-consciousness, I bought the J'pan BustUp Drink. They said it on their website that it's best to detox before consuming that so yeah, I'm going to detox myself for the next 60 days.
This is how it looks like (without the mug behind).
It comes with a container and it contains 60 packs.
I bought this is Watson with the discounted price of RM49.90.

The ingredient in the tea bags are:
Ginger root, orange peel, rosehip fruit, Uva Ursi, Chamomile flower, Stevia leaves, Althea Root, Buckthorn Bark.

Directions:
You put the tea bag into your desired amount of water and wait for 2-5 minutes, depending on how you like the taste. To enhance taste, you can add raw honey.
(But isn't it that the honey will lose nutrient after being heated?)

It tasted like tea with a small hint of ginger.
Great for people who dislike heavy ginger taste but I don't know, it doesn't taste like how I expected it to be, even though I left the tea bag in there for over 5 minutes.
It's just somehow... plain?

_____________
                               Begin

Day 1: 11/10/2014
I forgot I have dinner at night and I finished about one mug by the time I remembered.
Surprisingly, it doesn't give the awfully painful feeling that some products do.
I have the feeling of 'needing the toilet' but it was like a minor feeling.
Guess it's a good start?
Toilet scene: I felt like I drank lots of water instead of feeling like I'm clearing the food...

Day 2
I still don't feel like I've gone to the toilet enough times to cleanse my body.
But I guess I just need to wait a bit longer for the effect.
[but I was wrong]
I was already sleeping at around 11pm and my stomach hurt(in a bearable way) around 1am and I had to get up to use the toilet.
But not much came out though...

Day 5: 15/10/2014
I've been using the toilet more often than usual.
The poopie is more watery than usual... or muddy, I'm not sure...
But it became something like a habit to "flush the dirty things out" when I woke up.
I usually drink around 6pm-7pm as I reach home around 5pm and eat my dinner around 6pm.
The bearable pain hasn't reduced tho.
Guess I should still stick to being patient.

Day 16: 26/10/2014
I decided not to drink this every day because it felt like I'm losing a lot of water in my body.
The reason why I think that I'm somehow dehydrated is that every time I go poopoo, it's in the more-watery-sort-of-muddy situation.
But drinking it does help me to improve the "get rid the gas" system, I burp and *poot* a bit more often than before, leading a consequence of having a less bloated tummy.
Still using the toilet tho, but like I said before, dehydration... sometimes the poopoo ain't coming out if I don't drink the tea or enough water.

Day 26: 05/11/2014
I stopped drinking it for days now because from the colour of my urine, I am somehow really dehydrated even though I drank a lot of water but with the tea bag along in it.
I guess it somehow makes you dehydrated?
Anyways, the body part above my tummy and below my chest is obviously less bloaty than before and I can see my waist now.
No, I did not start my exercising routing nor have I put the effort into getting a thinner waist.
I guess this thing really works?
Anyways, I'm trying my best to get hydrated now.

Unboxing| realTechniques Starter Set by Sam&Nic | Luxola

For those who had been here for so long (since the beginning of Pretz 'n' Pickle), you would know that shopping in Luxola is what I've been doing recently.
I live in Malaysia so it's no fun to be unable to shop for all these goodies physically but Luxola has a wide variety of products and they offer free-shipping for any orders over RM40, which is the real deal if you're talking realistic.
Also, if you have been reading my recent posts, you'll realize that my dslr has not been fixed yet, which frustrates me because I couldn't find the cap for the "lens hole".

But let's get back into the topic, shall we? :)

Here are the details printed on the packaging.

I was quite confused when I open this because there's no sign of tapes on the top and bottom of the packaging.
Couldn't open it until I decided to pull the cover harder.
It seems like it was designed like this, to let customers know whether it's perfectly 'sealed' or not.

This is what you will get from the box.
It's a set of brush -specially for eyes but are multi-purpose too- and a duo-use case.

Here's a close up of the brushes before taking them out.
They are neatly arranged and all of them have the same side of the brush facing upwards.
The brushes are really nice to touch but I think Sephora has better once in terms of texture.
They are dark from root and the tip is covered with white colour, which is easier for you to know your 'current colour'.

The case can be used as a stand horizontally and vertically.
It is also for you to bring your brushes everywhere.
It's light and small, a 'yes' for travel-lovers.

From the left picture, it shows the other side of the brushes which are labelled with their function.
These brushes can be used with other purposes, such as contouring, lining, concealing and even as a lip brush.
The right picture shows you how fluffy the brushes are.
They are soft and firm, which doesn't seem to look like those shedding-type of brushes.

The brushes are longer than Forever 21's basic brushes.
The weight: feels the same.
realTechniques' brushes are slightly bigger and they have a grip, which F21's don't.

Overall:
I find it amusing.
I've been wanting a set of professional brushes for so long and I can't wait to use them.
Brushes doesn't look like the poke-ie type, which is good.
It can be used with other purposes and they are all light-weighted, which is great, especially for travelling, you know, when you don't feel like bringing much.
The case is a bit weird looking for me but it's still acceptable.

I haven't use it yet so it's a 7/10 from me.
I'm keeping the 2/10 for the makeup process and the other 1/10 is because of the casing.

Review| Phantasee Natural Grey from GlassesOnline.com.my

Hi guys!
For this post, it will be about my new obsession, the Phantasee contact lenses!

First of all, I've been keeping my eye on Phantasee products in G.O. but it went up from RM35/RM39 to RM50 by the time I decided to get it... but oh well :/
I don't think they sell Phantasee with eyesight powers too.

I only ordered a pair of lenses and this is what they sent me.
My sisters actually asked me what I bought when they see this.
I mean, it's almost the size of a shoe box.
Eventually they went sorta speechless when they found out what's in it.

I had the opportunity to get it at a discounted price and it's close to the previous price..
so yeah, I'm pretty happy with it :)

This is how the packaging looks like.
Seems to be a bit scary to me because, tbh, it looks like one of those lenses you can get from the night market.. those without real certificates..
But nahh, I don't have any doubts with the company.
I trust them.

The package has these holograms going on and I think it's how they help  you to differentiate the real and fakes.
Or is it just plain fantasy?

This is what you can get from the box.
A piece of paper with description and two contact lenses.

This pair of lenses also comes with this container.
It's pretty much a great news for those who wanted to try on contact lenses but had never done it yet.
It makes things easier for you, unless you bought contact lenses solution with containers for free... (which I have extra 3 of them)
The container feels pretty good, like, the weight and the quality are there.

I took one of the lenses out and LOOK AT DIS
JUST. LOOK
:D
Some said that the size is actually bigger than 14mm.
For me, I think that it's kinda true because I don't think my FreshLook ones are this big and they are 14mm too.

Here's a comparison photo of my "real eye" and my "fake eye"
You can see that it actually 'enhances' my eye.
From what my friend had said, it brightens my eye.
But I also had another friend who said that it looks like green colour.

And here are some of the snaps I took after gettin these babes soaked!
I took these photos with the current obsessed app, CandyCam.
(most faved filter: RomanticBlue)
*yes some of these photos are on Instagram :) *

First impression:
I thought it would be a bit more... grand? But oh well, I'm still satisfied with the packaging.
The container was quite unexpected, to be honest, especially the colour.
The lenses do not look like the one on the picture, so I guess you can't rely much on the photos showed.

First experience while wearing it:
First of all, it feels fine. My eyes got used to it within the first 3 minutes and they don't feel dry as fast as I thought because of the water content (0.45).
Doesn't sting eyes and it's a bit bigger than expected. (Not the first time with contact lenses)

First experience with Glasses Online:
Shocked by the size of the parcel but find it pretty cool.
Doesn't like the payment method. I mean, yeah, PayPal is safer but it charged me extra money for the transaction. Huge no no.
Doesn't like the process of waiting after payment. Neither of the tracking number nor the whereabouts of the parcel was told.

Overall (contact lenses):
I'm satisfied with it, really.
It's wearable and there are people in western countries who love this brand too, so it's like giving me the secure feeling to wear this.
It's a three-months wear and the price is lower than 3 pairs of monthly! (I got 3 boxes of monthly FreshLook for RM100)

7/10 is what I'll give.
The other 3 is because of the packaging, the water content and the pictures from the catalog.

Overall (Glasses Online):
I'm not sure... Maybe I'll buy from there again?
But that will be when I tried the other store and not satisfied by it.

____________
Update on 13th October 2014
I have no idea what happened but the contact lens on my right eye was somehow.. melting?
Now my right eye is red and I'm scared and I'm not sure what to do.
Will inform the seller soon.
My left eye is still perfectly fine though...
