Haul| Zalora: One day sale!

These days I've "forced" to stay home because my ankle suddenly became swollen.
(Summary of my injured ankle: Sprained it 6 years ago while forced to play netball, landed on the side of my ankle. First doctor visit was a policlinical doctor who injected steroids to my ankle, which made the skin thinner and blood clogged there. Spent the rest of my 5 years visiting doctors from Chinese medical users to Western specialists. None of them knew what's really wrong with my ankle and proceeded to use their way to cure it. Rubbing, herb-wrapping, acupuncture, acupuncture with heat, acupuncture with heat and electricity, physiotherapy. All of these made also made me realise that, touching a patient's ankle and talk to her for few minutes can charge her Rm100++. Great to be a doctor, right? Then proceed to visit Wah Toh Tit Tah, recovered at least 50% within the first therapy period. Told me my ankle was dislocated, not because of joint inflammation, like what those specialist told me. They did not suggested physiotherapy at all since I was totally not suitable to do so, unlike those specialists who insisted me to do so.

Now, I don't know why it suddenly swell. Possibly because I ate radish+prawn cracker at the same time, which both are things I'm not allowed to eat.
I'll probably write a blog post about my ankle's history.)

Anyway, I was so bored so I decided to check around some websites and found out that Zalora was on sale for one day, on the 28th of January.

__

SO SHOPPING, IT IS!
__

Basically, for this haul, I spent Rm100 (on the dot) with free shipping~~
But just 5 items for Rm100 is still a bit.... expensive la heuheuh
Anyhow, below are the things that I got from Zalora.

First of all(!), let me show you the shoessss omg
These are the very last pair available and they're at the price of RM29!
DEFINITELY GRABBING IT!!

Something Borrowed
Cork Sneakers with Pleather Trimming
Size 6
Rm29

They're so pwetty ryteeeeeee~?
Although it's about one size bigger than my usual size, with the straps it's not gonna bother me when I walk.

Then I got two watches from Something Borrowed.
They caught my eyes, instantly, the moment the page loaded.
These are pretty much the most prettiest ones I own.
\(Yea, I'm a loser when it comes to watch-games.)

Afterwards, I went to the clothing section to see if there's any nice bundle.
I saw these camis and thought that I didn't have a colour like this.
They're pretty low-profile, and I love low profile clothes because they're so convenient at most time.

Zalora has been one of the place I like to shop, mainly because they have one of the cheaper delivery rates among other shopping websites.
Besides, they have sales from time to time too, it's pretty convenient for a broke gal like me heuhueh.

Overall, Zalora has really great service too.
It took them within 20 hours to confirm //and// send out my order.
Surprising me while I was driving.
(Don't text and drive people, I was just checking my notification wall. I promist.)

Beauty Talk| Guide to G-SHOCK watches for the indecisive ones

Hi guys! I'm pretty sure that everyone has heard of the brand G-Shock, where their product's durability and stylish look gained many attention from younger teenagers to sophisticated adults.

G-Shock is basically suitable for anybody, I mean, they just tend to bring you personality to stand out. You can check out some of the G Shock models from Zalora to give you an idea of which ones to choose, if you had none.
Usually, people who play sports will love G-Shock more, but that doesn't mean they don't fit other people. Sometimes you can match their watches with edgy-style outfits.
You can also match the watches with casual clothings, giving people the impression where you're a very active girl.

Now, what has inspired me to write this post is because of my younger sister who tends to be the faithful consumer of  G-Shock.
My younger sister was an athlete, with no concern of taking care of her sports accessories, so she tends to change watches from time to time, just like her shoes.
The watches that she worn are usually lasting a few years, after countless times of "torturing" the watches during trainings. But they still work tho, she just wanted to get a newer looking watch.
Basically the watches she chose are either in white or black, but they are pretty bold as well.

Bold
- (of a color or design) having a strong or vivid appearance.
Most kids I know tend to choose bold colour watches and most of them are from G-Shock, too.
Surprisingly, sometimes I tend to "bookmark" people with their watches.
Basically associating their watches to their identity in the crowd, in which I find it so easy for me since I'm such a shortie.
G-Shock watches are pretty bold, in my opinion.
Every piece of their watches has their own characteristics.
I guess that's how you tend to stand out more with bold watches.

G-Shock themselves do have a variety of bold watches.
By bold, I mean in terms of their design and colours.
I do see bold colours like red and blue from time to time. They're pretty rad.

Aside from those rad-looking colours,
there are two types of colours where people have been actively choosing since the beginning of the fashion era.
Basically the black and white colours.
And quite frankly, they do have a wide variety of designs for these two colours
____________________________________

Classic Black*
-judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind.
- *of the very darkest color owing to the absence of or complete absorption of light; the opposite of white.
Black is still so trendy these days that, all-black outfit became the trend again.
Personally, I do agree with all-black outfit because they are so elegant//classy but edgy at the same time.
But besides wearing an all-black outfit, black watches always matches with any other colours of outfit. Making sure that you #Ootd is definitely the bomb.

Sleek White*
-(of an object) having an elegant, streamlined shape or design.
- of the color of milk or fresh snow, due to the reflection of most wavelengths of visible light; the opposite of black.
Besides black, white colour tends to be less edgy. It goes more to the softer side of the characteristics.
But it doesn't mean that white is not as good as black.
White colour can be matched with basically, almost, any dresses and skirts in your closet.
All you need to do is just to strap em up on your wrist and you're ready to go out with a more enhanced//stylish look.
Of course, white is always the best for casual look.

Conclusion:
I would pretty much recommend G-Shock watches for anyone, since they're so durable and matches almost any style.
Basically you won't confuse your friends and family while recommending them this since it makes their decision-making process so much easier.

On and all, if you can't seem to decide which watch to own (just like me), then you can always go for bold designs with black//white colour :)

Hope this blog post helps you with your decision making!
I hope to see you in another blog post of mine again :)

Anyways, in this blog post, I will be reviewing Revlon's Colorstay Foundation in the shade of 200 Nude, as well as Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder in Matte Ochre.

Let's start with Revlon first :)

I swear, this is the prettiest packaging I've seen.
It's cute and elegant at the same time.
Besides, the size isn't really "small," so you can use this product for quite a while.

LOOK AT HOW PRETTY IT IS (!!!!!!!!!)

Here's a close up of the pad and the powder itself.
Both of them are very, very velvety and smoooooooth.

I did a small swatch on a piece of paper.
Left is two swatch, right is one swatch.

Testing time!
Before applying the foundation, I washed my face and wiped it dry with my towel.
From then onwards, I did not put any other products on my skin.
On your left side of my face, I applied the foundation using cheek//blush brush with swirling motion and downslide motion.
This method was suggested by a famous youtuber, Tanya Burr.

Then from here on, I put foundation on the other side.
So this is a full-face application, including my eyelids and my outer lips.

I suddenly feel that my face is as pale as a ghost :0

In this photo below, I put Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder on the right side of my face, which is the left side of this picture.
I tried to lower down the exposure level but but somehow it doesn't seem to show much difference on camera... but I can definitely see that side of my face turning brighter after application while I'm applying it in front of the mirror.

The pictures below are my full face makeup.
For the base makeup, there's nothing more than these two products that I'm currently reviewing.
Other than that, I used Etude House's Proof 10 Eye Primer and Easy Eyebrow Pencil, Sleek's Eye Shadow in Oh So Special, NYX's Butter Lipstick, Bourjois Khol & Contour, and Canmake's Lip & Cheek Gel.

________________________________________________________
Conclusion:
I pretty much like//love these two products very much.
Of course, I still have to use it a few more days before decided whether I really like//love it or nah.
Now, let me talk about a few downpoint of these two products.

Revlon:
1. There's no pump or any other methods to obtain product from the bottle other than hitting the bottle upside down on my palm.
Only recently that they introduced a pumped version but it's even more expensive.

2. There's a few ingredient inside that I have seen on credible sources where they are considered as "dangerous."
Ingredients such as various of paraben, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide can be found in the product itself.
You can always refer to SkinDeep, GoodGuide or ThinkDirty to know more about chemicals like those.

3. Since the only way to obtain the product off the bottle is hitting it on my palm, I might accidentally remove too much product.
Also, I'm starting to worry about how long this product will last me.
6 months? 3 months? Or how even many weeks.

4. The sunblock feature isn't so strong. Only SPF 15.
Not SPF 15 PA+ or SPF 15 PA ++

Canmake:
1. The size of the product is considered to be budget-friendly but not compact-friendly.
2. The packaging is not English-reader friendly.
3. (Only applicable in Malaysia) You can't really find any refill here.
4. Coulda been half price cheaper but no it's not.
5. Contains Methylparaben, Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide. (Refer to Revlon.(2.) )
