What is PM 2.5?

Particulate matter (PM) is a mixture of solid and liquid particles in the air which is also known as a component of air pollution. PM 2.5 refers to the micropollutants that are less than 2.5mm. It is also 30 times smaller than the diameter of a strand of our hair. These micropollutants can come from common vehicles (cars, bikes, trucks), power plants, etc. Although these sources are usually found outdoors, it does not mean that staying indoor is safe as smoking, gas stoves, paints and cleaning products can also contribute the air pollution. Even so, you can’t avoid the pollutants just by wearing a mask because it is able to penetrate into the skin that exposed and penetrate further into the skin’s natural immune system. On top of that, wear masks often may cause irritation to your skin due to the direct contact between your skin and the masks.

Washing your skin often may not effectively cleanse the PM 2.5 off your pores. You may need an effective cleanser that actually washes off PM 2.5 from your face. Review

The packaging itself is utterly simple. Well, actually, the whole product is very simple because it is made solely with glycerin. This is a regular-sized bottle with 100g of content inside and the tube is convenient to bring around (unless you prefer travel-sized bottles).

The cleanser has a light texture and glides around the palm very easily. It foams up quickly with the help of a little water. The foam is light, gentle and soft. The product does smell like it has a fragrance but it is not very strong.

The foam is very easy to wash off as well. It glides off with the water without the need of a lot of scrubbing. It does not leave any tightening or tingling sensation to the skin. It also did not trigger my facial eczema or breakouts.

Verdict

I like that this renewed formula stays true to its claim, which is being gentle. Haze was around and my skin was being dry and I can see that my pores were easily clogged. After using this product, it seems that the dryness and the clogging had slowed down. I can’t be 100% sure since I would need a microscope to confirm this but I do feel that my skin is doing better after using it.

The best part is that it does not leave my skin feeling tightened or irritation. Heck, my skin felt kinda supple too, which means that it’s a good thing. I don’t think I’m a big fan of the fragrance and it would be great if it could be removed in the next renewal. However, it’s not a big deal in my case since my skin can handle fragrance to a certain level. The fragrance smell like any of their other variety of cleanser. People with fragrance-allergy or have sensitivity towards fragrant may not be advised to use this product.

I would recommend this product for people who are suffering from the impurities in the air as well as having a lot of issues with skin dead cells and sebum. Butttttttttttttttttttttttt, maybe do a trial testing if you are allergic/sensitive to fragrance.
